VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team, and the work is described as gratifying and emotionally meaningful.

Training

We will ensure that all hospice volunteers are equipped and comfortable with providing services before any patient contact is made. We will provide a complete extensive orientation with training sessions at no expense. 

Time and Location

Each volunteer is free to choose how much time they would like to give in the geographic area that works best for them. Volunteers usually create a regular schedule of availability, but some prefer to be available to fill in as needed.
